Makoto Inoue und Yasushi Yamashita’s Dauer-Ambient Projekt INOYAMA LAND erfährt gerade viel Aufmerksamkeit und ihr vielleicht wichtigstes Release ‚Danzindan​-​Pojidon‘ nun eine Wiederveröffentlichung auf Vinyl.

Im Jahr 1983 auf der Höhe der japanischen Ambient Welle produziert von Yellow Magic Orchestra’s Haruomi Hosono, wird ‚Danzindan​-​Pojidon‘ nun via WRWTFWW Records das erste mal international und ‚Vinyl only‘ Veröffentlicht. Die japanische Erstpressung erzielt auf Discogs Preise von mehr als 200€.

Die Aufnahmen entstanden unter durchaus kreativen Umständen und brauchen sich einem Vergleich mit dem Erfindungsreichtum des Eno-Peaks ungefähr zur gleichen Zeit im Westen nicht zu scheuen. Ein analoger Höhepunkt der Ambient Musik, der richtiger Weise nur auf Vinyl wiederveröffentlicht wird…

Hosono has built a special „Water Delay System“ for the sound design of „Pokala“, „Glass Chaim“, „Mizue“, „Meine Reflexion“ and „8·31“. Three speakers and a woofer are placed in the water (with rubber or vinyl covering) or on the water surface in a tank, the delayed sound is then recorded with a simple microfone and mixed together with the original recordings, so that the music sounds exactly like diving through the underwater cave on Inoyama Land…
