Mac DeMarco: Dog on the Rock

Mac ist zur Zeit in Europa auf Tour unterwegs. Bei einigen Gigs verteilte er eine CD mit neuem Material, nur ein paar Monate nach der Veröffentlichung der neuen Platte ‚Guitar‚. Das Werk heißt ‚Dog on the Rock‘.

Natürlich hat das Ganze längst den Weg ins Internet gefunden und ich denke, dass hat der Gute auch beabsichtigt. Vielleicht zählt ‚Dog on the Rock‘ ja auch schon als das obligatorische Demo-Album, dass Mac eigentlich zu jedem seiner Studioalben im Nachgang droppt.

Es sind allerdings unique Tracks und mal wieder ohne richtigen Gesang. Ein paar Melodien, Pfiffe, ein paar gehauchte Harmonien aber ansonsten eher ‚One Wayne G‘ Style.

Wie auch immer, ich finde das Album sehr chillig und nice. Vinyl bitte!
