Mir war bis gerade nicht bewusst, dass Mac DeMarco’s Song ‚Chamber of Reflexion‘ sich einem Sample des japanischen Jazz/Synth Musikers Shigeo Sekito bedient.

Was diesem großartigen Song irgendwie noch ein bisschen nicer macht. Ursprünglich 1977 erschienen wird das Album ‚Sound Series Vol. 2‘ auf dem sich der Track im Original befindet, nun wieder neu auf Vinyl gepresst.

Shigeo Sekito is an obscure Japanese recording artist who has released music since the mid 1970’s. You may recognize this track from the sample used on the Mac DeMarco song Chamber of Reflection.
