Princess Leia Fixed using Deepfakes

Ja ja ich weiss, das Netz ist voller Deepfakes und die sind einer krasser als der andere. Wollte nur erwähnen, dass das Internet jetzt aber offiziell die CGI-Effekte von Blockbustern überholt hat.

Vergleicht man die Original ‚Rouge One‘ CGI-Leia jedenfalls mit der mal eben schnell zusammengebastelten Deepfake Version von Shamook, fragt man sich wirklich warum die das nicht schon längst so im großen Hollywood Kino machen.

Vielleicht kriegen die dann ja Lizenzprobleme ?

Using deep fake software I’ve managed to enhance Hollywoods CGI version of Princess Leia in Rogue One. The process took only 24 hours on an $800 PC and 500 images of Carrie Fisher in the original Star Wras movies. As you can see it’s inevitable Hollywood will start to utilies this method of VFX, when and how is still the question.
